Dalmahoy’s golfing heritage attracts golfers of all levels, looking to test their skills at the famous venue where the European Ladies won their first Solheim Cup, and where famous names such as Seve Ballesteros, Sam Torrance and Nick Faldo have competed in the Scottish Seniors Open.
The East Course was designed by James Braid to Championship standards, and is a monster from the Championship tees at over 7,400 yards. For members’ competitions and corporate events, it’s a more manageable 6,684 yards, but is still a formidable challenge. The West Course is the shorter of the two but is still a good test of golf. There is a good mix of shorter par 4’s and par 3’s, alongside some very tough par 4’s and a par 5 which is the longest on either course.

A perfect complement to its bigger brother, the West Course has an excellent mix of challenging holes which will test your accuracy off the tee and your short game around the greens.
The East Course has been host to major events such as the Solheim Cup, the Scottish PGA Championship and the Scottish Seniors Open to name a few.
Golf facilities are available within the hotel leisure club. There are ladies and gents changing rooms which have large lockers to store valuables as well as showers for you to make use of before or after your round.
Practice makes perfect so come along and hit some balls in our newly refurbished driving range. We have a 12-bay floodlit driving range so you can practice undercover in heated bays to protect yourself from the elements or, if Scottish weather allows, outside in our open-air hitting bays.
We also have a 9 hole putting green to help you sharpen up your game plus a short game area and 9 hole pitch & putt.
